Drew angelopoulos, MA

Mental Health Therapist in Greater Boston, MA

I am a clinical social worker with a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire and experience across a wide range of treatment settings, including correctional facilities, community mental health, inpatient and outpatient programs, and private practice. I work with both individuals and couples, helping clients navigate life's challenges with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based care.

My clinical experience includes treating depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, addiction, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other emotional and behavioral challenges. I believe effective therapy goes beyond symptom reduction—it involves understanding the whole person and creating lasting, meaningful change.

My approach is collaborative, individualized, and goal-oriented. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and strengths-based, empowerment-oriented interventions to help clients build practical skills, increase resilience, and move toward the life they want to live.

Whether you're seeking support as an individual or looking to strengthen your relationship as a couple, my goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel heard, challenged, and supported. Together, we will develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, build on your strengths, and work toward sustainable growth. I believe progress—not perfection—is the foundation of lasting change, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients throughout that journey.
